“Prone” Position in Halo:ODST?

Posted by RippinZombies on July 17, 2009

If you don’t know what the word “Prone” means, it’s a position used in combat in which you are lying down on your stomach… So on to my question. What would you think if Halo:ODST introduced this “Prone” position?

I think It would open new doors as far as being able to stay hidden or get a better angle when sniping, making it harder for your opponent to see you. If you’ve ever played Call Of Duty you know what I mean.

Also what would you think if Halo:ODST introduced a “Silencer” on various weapons, Meaning you wouldn’t be able to hear that person shooting behind you. Or what if they just put a silenced sniper rifle in the game?

These are all questions I think people are wondering. How is Halo:ODST going to be unlike any other Halo game out there?

So, what do YOU think?

I like that Halo isn’t Call of Duty, so neither of those things would be something I would like to see in future games.

i agree with firestream i am happy that halo isn’t CoD, i wouldn’t want any of those things added really.

  3. RippinHeads says:

I think the silenced SMG is going to be perfect… I could use that on Epilogue when I’m taking the players out that keep rushing the man cannon. lol. Other than that I think the weapons are sweet.

I agree Halo shouldn’t be like COD

  5. strife says:

i think if they put the prone position in, it would give people more reason to just rush the sniper and camp the entire game. camping = game is boring

I would like to see more Rippinheads Lone Wolf videos where he plays people with a rank of 45 or higher.

Yeah no prone. Come to think of it i can’t really imagine any of any halo 3 maps with long grass, your supposed to lie down in long grass normally.
