rippin do you lose your lone wolves 50 often? I just lost mine last week sometime and i still haven’t got it back up and it seems like i should be able to since i got up there to 50 once but cant get back up again from 49-50.

I only lose my 50 after getting cheated 2-3 games in a row. You must consistantly place 1st or 2nd with an occasional 3rd to keep your 50. Not an easy task buoutou gotta love the challenge! lol

Yes i believe i lost my 50 i lost my 50 by losing 2 odd ball games straight…Is it possible to go “farther” into your 50 so that it is harder to lose your 50?

Yes, I have gotten to a point where I had about 25-30 straight 1st and 2nd place wins and it took quite a few losses before I dropped to 49 again. Keep in mind that I play for stats just as much if not more than my “50″.
My buddy Vetoed got his 50 in 130 games and has never lost it even after 2000 LWs games. He won’t mind me saying that he is a “1st place try hard”. Haha

Yes, I have been messing with Bumper Jumper a good bit lately. It seems to be smoother except the melée on the right bumper. I melée a lot in LWs so I might stay default for LWs. We shall see.

Congrats on the SWAT 50 Rip!! Dude thats sick get any sweet multikills? Thats definately a really fun playlist. (Not to brag but it only took me 56 out of 69 games to get my SWAT 50, while playing with TSquared and randoms) Two things though. One I think I’m starting to slow down with playing halo. The things I have left to do are:
1. get recon armor
2. Get at least 200 Rumble Pit Exp

I played you a while back in Anvil Slayer BRs. Unfortunatly it did not get veto (to my genuine frustration) and the game played out with myself and you tieing on 17 kills (you commited suicide which allowed me EXP).
I just wanted to know your opinion on maps like Anvil, and what you believe play the best, I think Pit, Blackout and Construct are the best.
Also wanted to know what you think of Mythic Brawl, I am a 45 in that playlist and was wondering whether the mass FFA appeals to you.
And finally, I got a 48 in Lone Wolves (finally after 50 + wins on my 47 with only >10 losses). So yay me.

I agree with you on Pit & Construct but I have to be honest and say that Anvil is one of my favorite maps fo for big sprees(frenzy,riot,perfection etc). I also love High Ground for the same reason. When it comes to Mythic Brawl I have to be honest and say that my connection sucks for Large FFA games(the main reason I stick to LW’s.

The biggest change that you will notice with Bumper Jumper is that whether you are using the BR or Snipe you can always get the final shot in while jumping. You never have to remove your right thumb from the joystick. Priceless. The only downfall is with the right bumper as the melée. I’m still getting use to that and the Nader switch on the A button. I have been playing Swat, MLG and Snipes so the buttons have not been an issue. You can change your password whenever you like. The long ones are just default, sry.

How do you compare yourselves to MLG Pros like Roy, Snip3down, T2, Pistola, etc? I know you have better stats then them, but do you think you are a better player overall?
you say having the power weapons is a big thing in lws juss wonderin what times do the powers weapons spawn and does it depend on the map, when they are picked up when they spawn or when the ammo is all used up that determines when they spawn next
first off, i give you props for being humble, at least from what i can see. but my question is about sensitivity. i am currently playing on 8, but it often frustrates me. for example, beating someone down, then using the br to get a quick headshot, but i get so excited and jumpy that i often overcorrect my aim. if i turn my sensitivity down even one notch, i cant stand it and oddly do worse. any tips on fixing this? what sensitivity you play on?
Do you think elites should be disallowed in SWAT?

Congrats on your Swat 50! Nice work. When it comes to comparing myself to MLG Pro’s I normally try to stay neutral. They are good at what they do and I am good what I do. I love competitive play so I’m sure if I wanted to go pro I probably could. Keep in mind the reason I originally left the Pro Circuit was because I wants to spend more time with my family.

Weapon Spawns are based 100% on timing. Normaly the power weapons/power ups respawn every 3-4 minutes.
Poofy-
Your best bet is to bite the bullet and drop your sensitivity down to at least 5. You will have way more control and should be able to finish those kills. It may take a few days to adjust but afterwards I think it will pay off.

I do have my favorite pair of sweat pants! lol there are a few things that I like to have a certain way so I can play. Like sitting in my suede beanbag chair and making sure my controller is clean before I play… Meaning if my hands were greasey or sweaty. I hate more than anything when my controller gets slippery. It causes you to grip tighter which ends up screwing you up.

What’s the best way to get over another team pulling host? My local team here doesn’t lose often online, but it makes it a lot harder to win when we don’t have the better connection. After a few minutes we start to get frustrated as guys who are 1-shot out-BR us because they don’t die, know what I mean? Usually, I my BR doesn’t take more than 5 shots to kill someone, but i’m finding that when another team has host, they can easily out-BR my 9 shot fail =\. What’s a good way to get over this annoying factor and take guys out easier?

curious about a couple things rippin , you play for soo long every night (9 or 10 to 2 am) how do u keep urself from this process of game play 1. warming up 2.getting the flow 3.Owning 4.Doing alright 5.doing bad 6.doing alright 7. doing bad 8. Fustration.
i try to play for hrs at a time you kno just to get games in and get better but idk sometimes this game makes me mad, team slayer is one of my favorite game types i play on my 50 all the time in it and i think its stuck , but i cant seem to liek doubles anymore cuz it is constant objective. hey i’ve been viewing your site for a while and this is my story. when i first began playing halo 3 i was doing the classic noob attack style (AR +beatdown) all of the time. I wasn’t using any other weapon and sucked at especially the BR. even when i began playing ranked matches i was still doing the same things, and was getting owned. now after watching several videos i began playing some team swat to hopefully get better at the BR. I also like Lone Wolves (i often play several Rumble pit matches before) and have a high skill of ten (LW) but it felt as though ten was very hard to get, and usually have K/D of -10+, but its getting better now, and usually its closer to 0 and -5. (still kinda noob) anyway its not helping my k/D ratio (its 0.6) barely. What should I do? Please Help. Thanks in advance.

Prob is i only win slayers and as of late the kids are vetoing for oddball and KOTH. I have not been playing LW’s lately. I have been playing SWAT/MLG and Snipes so I could get 50′s. I will likely be back to LW’s after Ranked Infection next weekend.

It normaly only takes me 1 game to warm up. After that I am pretty consistant other than the occasional laggy game. The main thing is that when you have a bad/laggy game don’t get pissed. That is what will start the downhill trend that you mentioned. Not sure what to tell you about Dubz. I have not played Dubz for about 6 months and back then it was mostly Slayer.

Your best bet if you are only at a high skill of 10 would be to stick with Rumble Pit and continue to practice. Im not sure what sensitivity you are at but I do know that if you start out low it helps(2-3).

I have mentioned this before but anyway whenever I play KOTH I only kill the guys in the hill if they notice that I am there. sometimes on maps like Epitaph I will just hide somewhere in the hill and then when someone sees me I will kill them. On the other hand when it comes to ball games I kill everyone the whole game and grab the ball when possible. I also try and pickup regen and bubble whenever possible as that normally will get you an extra 10-15 seconds with the ball.

Unfortunately I don’t think the system works as good as they say it does. I honestly feel that it takes way too long for cheaters to get banned. Some of that is do to the fact that most of the people who get cheated never report, they just get mad and start up another game. The other thought I had whichakes perfect sense is that if Bungie/Microsoft banned as many people as they should they feel that will start losing customers. Sad to say but cheaters always win.

It’s up to you how long you hang out on RP. I only mentioned it because that is where I started years ago. RP gives you the biggest variety of game types and players. If you have not already I would suggest becoming a supporter over @ HaloCharts.com and start setting goals for yourself so you can see your progress. There are also a ton of cool groups that you can join which are based on your skill.

Hey man, I just wanted to ask a question.
I am pretty decent at FFA, and am a 48 in the LW playlist at the moment, along with this – I have won around 50 games with only 8-9 losses on my 48 since I got it. I sort of expected this ranking up bull but I also think it is because of the fact that I very rarely come in 1st place.
And that is the problem, I usually go positive, sometimes even the most positive yet I still fail to come first. It is usually by 1 or 2 kills and it frustrates me knowing that I could have, and SHOULD have won that game and possibly a chance to rank up quicker.
Do you have any tips on how to make sure that if you are playing well, to come first the majority of the time instead of be edged out of first place by a kill or two. Is it just Bad Luck? Me being too passive? Thanks for any input you could give.
Oh, and what are your thoughts on the current Ranked Living Dead playlist, I’m currently a 10 in it. =)
Sir Rippin, got a bit of a question about the BR.
I’ve usually got a pretty accurate and consistent BR (I’m not saying I 4 shot everyone, but I’m decent). What I found was that when I went into the MLG playlist (or playing MLG gametypes in custom games) that my BR gets a lot better. I know MLG has incresed speed and lower gravity, but is there anything you would suggest to do in normal playlists to somewhat emulate the MLG gameplay? Such as increase my sensitivity, or change my strafe distance etc.
Just got a 49 in LW, just as an update =)
It took around 58 wins (xp placing) with just 9 losses.
I don’t even want to think about how long it will take to rank up to a 50.

Hi RippinHeads! I recently stumbled accross some of your videos on Youtube and then ended up here, I like your site! I was very pleasantly surprised to find out you are a fellow Christian! It really made my day to learn that the #1 ranked Halo player in the world is a Christian! It’s also very refreshing to learn how nice and humble you are, unlike 90%+ of the people that play, especially the “better” players. I also find it very cool that me and you are quite similar. I’m also married (with a baby on the way any day now!) and work full time, and prefer family time over video games (but still LOVE to game when possible!). Anyway, just wanted to say all of that, I do have a few questions though:
1) You’ve mentioned High Ground being one of your favorites. I’m terrible at that map. Can you describe your strategy on that map? Like, what kind of routes you take, and what area(s) you try to hold down?
2) I’d also be very interested in hearing your strats for the other FFA maps, construct, isolation, the pit, foundy, blackout, citadel, and heretic, but particularly the first 5, mythic maps aren’t coming up much, yet. I think I’ve got a pretty good understanding of how you run epitaph, guardian, and snowbound, after watching your videos from those maps, but I haven’t seen any videos from these other maps.
3) How much does your strategy change from Epitaph vs. Epilogue, and Snowbound vs. Boundless? I find myself doing much better on Boundless than Snowbound, but I’m not sure what I need to do differently when Snowbound comes up.
4) Obviously, one of the most important things to do to dominate FFA is to control the power weapons. If I start the game near one, or keep up with the time and catch one on re-spawn, I’m good. But, once somebody else has one, I have a lot of trouble taking them down, particularly on Epitaph. How do you take down people camping with power weapons? I used to try a lot and would get killed most of the time. Now, I just avoid them and keep an eye out for the next power weapons spawns.
5) How do you approach an oddball when there’s a lot of people/chaos surrounding it? I usually just go in blasting, hoping to take everybody out and get a few seconds of ball time, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. I’ve tried in the past to, instead, approach it a bit more slowly, let some of the other people kill each other, then finish off the remainders and grab the ball, hopefully uncontested at that point. Only problem is, every time I’ve tried to do that, by the time I finally get the ball, the first people that were taken out have already re-spawned, made their way back to the ball, and are chucking grenades, and I still only end up getting a couple seconds. I know grabbing bubble shield and regen helps alot, but do you have any other pointers?
6) What kind of strafe techniques do you use?
7) When did Bungie give you recon, and what for?
I love your strat for KOTH, hiding in the corners and not attacking until you’re seen, that’s how I’ve always played it and I’ve always done consistently well at KOTH.
Like I said, I JUST learned of your site, so I haven’t had a chance to put any of your FFA tips to use yet, but I can definitely tell they are going to be a huge help! I see my 45 on the horizon.

When it comes to getting first in LW’s the only option you have is to give it your all and push for those extra hard kills. Sometimes this obviously destroys the k/d but if you are wanting to get your high skill up you gotta do what you gotta do. you know?

I have to be honest and say that when I go from regular MM over to MLG I normally bump my sensitivity back 1 notch so that MLG doesnt seem as fast. I know that sounds silly but it works for me to make up the differnece.

1. When it comes to High Ground i always try to pull Sniper and hang out around the beach area. I have like 5-6 perfections doing that.
2. When it comes to the other maps you mention I honestly just try and make sure to control a certain area of the map and hang on to power weapons as long as possible… rockets/snipe/shotty/sword. Those are key in keeping good stats and winning games.
3. I love all of the snowbound and Epitaph variations, my strats dont change much from one to the other to be honest, the power weapon kicks in the same but I try to whore the BR’s more on the maps that have no shield doors.
4. I always take out the kids with the power weapons, just be sneaky.
5. I play the players in oddball til there all dead then snag the ball, i try and whore the regen’s and bubbles too of course. =)
6. I never strafe the same… unpredictable FTW!
7. I got Recon on BUNGIE Day for getting 77 exp FTW!

Hi i have my 45 in LW and getting from a 43 to a 44 took me 8 wins (1st place) in a row. after then being on a 44 i won 7 games in a row and didn’t level up. I found out that after quitting two games and then winning two my skill went up. Do you know if it is best to keep winning or performing as best as you possibly can or is quitting useful SOMETIMES to speed up leveling up?

Yep! Got my social k/d back up a lot while playing LD all weekend.
When it comes to getting HCS it’s ALL about playing Ranked Games and keeping good stats… High K/D, good medals, kills per game, headshots. Those are just a few of the things I try to achieve.

I don’t recommend ever quitting out of games however it does seem like if you lose a game now and then it helps to level up. If you consistantly get 1st place every game it seems like you get level locked and it takes forever to level up.

How come Lone Wolves connection is better than other playlist for me, is it b/c of the # of players (6) comapred to team slayer (8). But sometimes, Lone Wolves connection is also bad. Like regular melee do not work up close and BR shots do not register to the head. I sometimes think that Halo skill is almost 30-40% host based. You play longer than I have I wonder if you know the mechanics behind this.
Also, MLG lags more than TeamSlayer…for some unknown reason to me.

an currently number 6 in brazil, but i had #3 in lan brazil here for FFA. And about 2 nights ago i played with you.
now my question is: how come im not ranking up? i mean i got before 20 wins in a row and not goin back to my highest kill 47. so whats the problem there? normally back out at 4 and sometimes at 2, and rarely i dont back out. just wandering, do you know anything about this?

I love the map for TS but it seems like when I play LW, there’s always people who have angles on me etc.
I pretty confident in being able to get 80-90% of my kills with a BR, which area of the map do you find it easiest to pick up kills?

You are correct in saying the LWs connections are better than any other playlist. Having only 6 players in the game greatly reduces latency/ping issues thus giving you a better connection. This is the biggest reason I play LWs because my connection blows.

I don’t think it matters if you are a 50 or not as far as HCS, the key to getting your HCS up is to increase your ranked k/d and play really well during the games… Like lots of kills and big medals such as sprees and multi kills. That’s what I do ftw! lol

I always back out as soon as the game is over. The key to leveling up is to consistantly beat plaers that have better records and higher skill in the playlist you are in. It’s that easy.

I like pulling the snipe and then hanging out in the sword area. Normally have the sword in me back pocket too just in case someone tries to take me snipes. hehe…there are always kids trying to rush the sniper towers from the platforms plus there are always kids spasningat OV also trying to get to snipe towers. Snipe them ftw! I sometimes hang out by the BR 1 spawn too which gives you a look at half the map.

Hi Rippin, I’m currently a Colonel highest skill 43, I’m really trying to get my 45, but I’m having some trouble in lone wolves, I can win 1 or 2 games 1st place, then I’ll come last next game.
I try my best in lone wolves all the time, but once a couple of Gens come in my games I’m pushed down to bottom place again

hey rippin, I’ve been trying to boost my ranked K/D lately and its not coming along to well. 80-90% of my matchmaking games are Lone Wolves and its pretty challenging for me to keep a decent consistent K/D ratio in there….any tips on keeping a good k/D spread in Lone Wolves or should I just start playing squad battle(which bores me)?

In order to become the highest rank “UNSC Overlord” on HaloCharts you must have 10 playlist generals and at least 1 50 and 15,000 exp. The Master Chief Petty Officer has not been unlocked yet but the way it looks you won’t need a 50 to acquire it. I could be wrong. haha

I love my 40″ Sony XBR II. Unlike some HD TV’s I get no lag at all which is awesome. I would never go larger than a 40″ though. Good Luck finding somehting that works well for you.

I am glad that you ask the question about me not having or being able to maintain my 50 in LW’s. To tell the truth its almost impossible to keep a LW’s 50 anymore with all of the cheating that is taking place. Its gotten WAT out of hand lately. I had like 15 straight wins on my 49 yesterday and then BAM, I got cheated 5 out of 7 games. If there were no cheaters in LWs I would have never lost my 50 in the first place. =(

Its all about adapting to the players you are playing against. I play aggressive when I need to but for the most part I just play conservative. If you watch some of my videos you will get a good feel for how I play.

i just watched some of ur vids, they r gr8. i was wonderin what you do when there are AR starts (on maps such as boundless, etc) where are very few BRs on the map. also one thing i hav noticed is that wen im playing LW i get like only 12 kills
if i play too passively n wen i play more aggressively my kill/die spread is very negative ( sometimes like -5 or -7) but i will hav like 17-18 kills. what should i do? one other thing, wen i was watchin ur LW gameplay u could easily tell whether the player was below you, above, or on the same level, which is something i find very difficult. how is ur awareness tht good?
do u have any other tips for mainting a high kill/die ratio, esp. in LW. i have also been playin swat lately and i find tht i consistently get at least 15 kills (sometimes more sometimes less, but i lost a match then win a match a therfore my rank is stuk. i wouldnt put all the blame on my team mates but wat can do to win more games in team swat and even team slayer when my teammates are playin badly.

Hey Rippin, I recently got an HDTV for Christmas (24″ Viewsonic 1080p 3ms responsetime). The picture quality and lack of lag is amazing, but i can’t get used to it… it makes my BR and snipe suck. I’ve always played on 7 sensitivity and I want to stick with what I’m used to. Any tips for switching from a tube television to an HDTV?

Thanks for the comment about the Rampage… I actually got 4 Rampages in the last 4 days and I got my 50 back last bight as well thanks to only running into 1 game of boosters. I’m not sure what to tell you as far as keepi g your k/d up while going for a 50 in LWs. I play a lot differently than most people. I mixed it up a good bit depending on the competition. I played really good players yesterday and still managed to keep a 2.0 k/d and get my 50 back. Crazy.

As far as knowing whether or not a player is above or below it’s all about “court awareness”. Meaning that I have played the maps so many times that I know all the spawns and know where thebpkaywrs will be before they ate even there. When it comes to getting your 50 I would shoot for LWs if you feel that it’s bad teamates keeping you from getting it in team games.

When I changed from tube to HD I dropped my sensitivity from 8 down to 4 and as of now I’m at 3 and I love it! Just a thought but it worked for me and between that and Bumper Jumper I’m slowly improving my k/d again. Weeeee!

oh in many of the LW games i play, the players tend to all charge on one person n then person who is the last in this line tends to clean up a bunch of kills. if u wer the one being charged like this wat would u do? (i know that this would probably never happen in very high ranked LW.)
That’s totally understandable, there’s so many hackers out there now that they could be one of your friends and you wouldn’t even know. But I can’t hack, even if I could I wouldn’t.
Hackers are stupid, they hack accounts for the dumbest reasons , I once had someone tell me he was going to hack me just because I made him lose his 50 in doubles when me and my friend were going for ours. How dumb is that?

Have you ever had a FFA match where you finish with 20+ assists? I’m sure you have, so I’m wondering what exactly do you do about those matches? I seem to have them far more often than I should, and if my points weren’t taken from underneath of me 75% of the time, I’d definitely be a far better FFA player. But the common happening that is 15 assists and above nearly every FFA match I play in Matchmaking just keeps haunting me

Its hard to say how long this “awareness” will take. You have to think about how long I have been playing Halo… something like 40,000 games of FFA over the last 5 years. Pretty insane! When it comes to players charging me I normally welcome it… throw a couple nades and clean up with the BR FTW!

When you get above a 45 in LW’s you MUST place top 2 if you want to push on to the 50. You also MUST beat players with higher true skill than you. Very Important.

When it comes to Narrows I normally hang out around the Red or Blue Lobby areas close to where the Mauler spawns. It gives you the advantage on the players that constantly spawn in the back corners of the lobby. Again… nades and BR FTW! I do sometimes control the snipe in the back stage area of red or blue.

Im not sure exactly how it works Devin in regards to leveling up based on how much global exp you have but I do know that if you go into a ranked playlist for the first time your global exp should not effect your leveling. I always try and get mvp when it comes to doubles. Not sure that it helps but that is what I try to do . lol

The most assist I will get in a LWs slayer game is like 13-15 which to me is a lot! There really isn’t much you can do about the assist except try and carry your BR more that we YOU can be doing all of the kill stealing! I love stealing kills… not for for them being taken though. Haha

There is nothing “great” about MoneyMitch or TankWheels… they just play TONS of Squad Battle and Team Flag so people know there names.

Baylor is a great player but unfortunately he cheats/boosts a lot. That game we played on Isolation was the first game he has ever played against me legit. Meaning that normally when I match him he is in a party chat with 3-4 friends and they are boosting exp which means I get 5-6 place finish. Enough Said… obviously for those reason I do not like him.

After watching some Pro gameplay I picked up on a really cool trick to make you more stealthy.
When you pull out a weapon that makes a lot of noise (i.e. Mauler, Shotty, or even BR) beat down as you pull it out. This will literally mute the sound of you pulling out the weapon. You can easily go unnoticed by players who might have heard you pull out the mauler or shotty. But don’t do it with camo, or else you become visible, lol. Not sure if you knew about this but just something to help you become a better ninja.
Hey Rippin, glad you’re improving your KD spread and I finally got back into a grove with my new TV… I’ve almost gotten my KD back up to 1.55, which seems good to me (considering I’m above 45 in every playlist except for squadbattle). The only playlists I’m struggling to keep high skills in are MLG and lonewolves. Have any tips for those playlists? Besides the obvious, like callout or highground is an advantage…

MLG and LW’s are 2 of the most competetive playlists in H3. Its all about exposure and practice. I tend to play conservitive in LWs where as some people are straight up Run n Gun. Its all preference but I like keeping my high k/d so I play the way I do.

When it comes to keeping your account safe your best bet is to make sure you have a super safe password and dont ever give out the email that is associated with your account. Also when you are online never join a party/person’s game that you are not familiar with. They can easily get your info through your IP… so I have found out. My first RippinHeads acct was hacked over a year ago now and I was really ticked becaus the kid was just mad that I destroyed him 1v1. Oh and that is the reason that I no longer play 1v1′s.

If you are on sens. 1 Im really not sure what to tell you. I know the biggest thing for me is to try and act like the Sniper is a BR when it comes to no scoping, that will keep you focussed on the redicule.

There is nothing you can do to block people from seeing your IP in MM but if you have a good security setup on your router that will at least help deflect them some.

There was a fan-made map on Bungie Day that had the Sentinel Beam somewhere in the middle, but I can’t remember what it was called. Actually, I think it’s still in Team Mythic. While I don’t know what the name is, I do know that it’s a Sandbox variant.

HARNOIS is a great FFA player and sadly for me he has pulled host in every game I have ever faced him. I can only dream about having a connection like that someday. There is no 1 single player that stands out… especially in LW’s. There is a lot of luck involved as well as skill. There is not 1 player I can think of who I have not beaten or been beaten by in LW’s. Oh and Baylor is one of the biggest boosters in the game. He boosts exp in every playlist including LW’s. Sad

I know this is a page meant for questions to be answered by Rippin, but since I can’t think of a good way to give him a tip to share with everyone else, I guess this place is acceptable? Sorry if it’s not.
This little tip is something that relates to your network setup, and primarily your NAT. Anyone who’s got a Moderate, or even worse, a Strict NAT, (I’ve had one since before Halo 3 even came out
), knows that they can’t connect to any friends who don’t have an OPEN NAT. Well, this connectivity issue also carries through into Matchmaking, despite the fact that Microsoft claims that “NAT restrictions do not affect lag within gameplay”. I’ve learned from personal experience that this is definitely not the case.
I’ve had a Strict NAT at home forever now, and for whatever reason, the equipment that Embarq/Centurylink has provided me doesn’t want to work properly with XBox Live. Even still, I’ve played at friends’ houses who have Open NATs, and there is a noticeable difference in Matchmaking. Not only is it quicker in finding games, but your bullets actually register the majority of the time with an Open NAT. I’m no networking expert, but I’ve noticed countless other players, (This means every single match I play, unless I manage to pull host once in a blue moon.), who just eat all my shots. I go back into theater, watch my bullets hit them, but I’m still the one to die a good 80% of the time, when I honestly shouldn’t have. This just doesn’t happen when I’m playing with an Open NAT. Of course it’s still an online scenario, so of course not all your shots will register, but a lot more do when your NAT is Open.
Long story short, if you want to be a better player and spend less time being frustrated like me, do some research and figure out how to get your NAT open if it’s not already. I’d love to be able to myself, but like I said, my ISP just sucks, so nothing works for me. This is just something that I think is nearly just as important as “a 5 star BR”, or anything else. What good is an amazing BR if your bursts only count half the time?

I am fairly new to Halo 3 online, but have played 1 and 2. I have played 3 for about a year before I got my x-box online. So I played against you back in January on Slayer Guardian and beat you just a few weeks before you were hacked. What really struck me was how you had zero kills when I had six and were in last, yet came roaring back and nearly beat me. I am at level 48 in Lone wolves. This is the first time I’ve actually attempted past 47 and I was surprised to find this seems to be the most technically difficult playlist to hit 50 in! It seems like I can get 2nd and 1st and 3rd consistently, yet even one 4th place will drop me back to 47. Exactly how do I have to place in order to not be decreasing at 48? How about 49? Please respond and let me know what you think about the vid too. Any commentary advice?
